The founder & creator of Retro Press; my baby! They say that they (babies) grow up fast and boy, I can hardly believe that this all started back in 2012- how time flies hey! But seriously, I have enjoyed every second of it, every crease I have folded, every pocket fold I have glued, every single letterpress coaster I have hand printed, just all of it. Every project has been like an adventure and it just keeps on getting better and better. There's always new designs that I want to do, I'm always thinking about the next best step forward and embracing fresh challenges and strange requests everyday! So bring them on!

Stationery goodness, such as pens, papers, textures, notebooks, folders and all the other little bits and bobs, is my obsession. My main goal with Retro Press is to combine my love of design, things and inspirations to make you, 'the bride to be', get as excited to receive your wedding stationery as you are about putting on that perfect dress for the first time. Incidentally, I do believe that the stationery is in fact just as important as the dress, the cake, the flowers, the venue et al, because all these little things come together to make that one day, that B I G day. If you think about it, the Save The Date's or the invitations are the first things that your wedding guests receive, thus they totally set the tone for the day. It is essential to get these right and ensure that they create the same wonderful vibes as the wedding itself.

To give you a bit of an insight into my personal history, I have come from a Graphic Design background in which I graduated from Camberwell, University of the Arts London. It was there that my love affair with the letterpress print process and typography began. I did some work experience in London whilst I was studying and then I did a fantastic internship at a huge letterpress workshop in Nashville, America, where I designed posters for the likes of Kenny G, Glen Campbell and Willie Nelson. When I returned to England, I bought my first letterpress press and a close friend of mine asked me to do her wedding invitations... And so Retro was born!

The inspirations for my designs, I guess, mainly come from my letterpress practice; I love anything vintage, quirky, unusual, different and unique. All the experience I have accumulated over the years has definitely informed my designs today and hopefully you like them! Anyway, enough about me, but please do have a good old mooch around my website and don't hesitate to get in touch with any queries you may have.
